About the role
- Verify quantities of work in the field; this includes both what was completed and what is projected.
- Update action log/ RFI log etc., Safety Observation/ Inspection Quality Inspection
- Conduct and/or participate in the weekly update meeting with project team and distribute Meeting Minutes to team.
- Participate in the contractors weekly safety meetings with project team.
- Complete Weekly Report.
- Schedule Review. Site Meeting Minutes.
- Ensure Environmental Inspections are done (such as 3 rd party SWPPP and EFORM-IUSA.012).
- Notification to substations/T-Line ROW/Subway System; whatever is applicable for the project.
- Daily AGRN Job Briefing Copy contractor job briefing.
- Perimeter check of the station at the beginning of the shift and at the end of the shift.
- Call in any abnormalities to the ECC/dispatch. UI to check annunciator.
- UI-check annunciator prior to beginning work for the day.
- Look for physical and environmental issues.
- Tale quality photos of the days work, label with the same date and have it uploaded into PW; include in daily report.
- Work with CM or DC to ensure pictures are uploaded to PW as part of weekly report.
- Work with project contractors to ensure emergency access is known and easily identifiable in case of an incident on an off-road work site or remote location and that all plans have been reviewed and discussed if a remote incident occurs.
- Safety observations/inspections as needed.
- Conduct EHS orientation sessions.
- Escort any site Visitors and check on them.
- ITPs- Inspection test plans
- RFIs DCN, FCN Design change notification and Field change notification
- PDM, NDM- Proposed Design Modification and notice of design modification
- Non-Conformance- Should be tracked by FCM and make sure it is uploaded to PW.
- Update Redline drawings.
- Incident reporting.
- Spill reporting.
- Materials delivered on site.
- Haul/Disposal Manifest/ Shipping papers (Including spoils).
- Drawings- Make sure the transmittal matches the drawings that were provided.
- Specifications- Keep on site, update as received.
- Quantities- Track quantities of work completed each day (PayCU and quantity) and include on the daily report.
- General Organization of All site Documentation
Requirements
- Bachelors in civil, Construction, Structural or in any related discipline.
- Total of 4 years experience in Construction.
- At least 2 years of experience in substation building or rebuilding.
- OSHA 30-Hour Health and safety certification required.
- Should have Contractor management experience.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Should have valid Drivers license.
- Locals Preferred (close to Rochester, NY).
