About the role

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and drive manual and automation testing efforts.
  • Review functional specifications, technical design documents and provide feedback.
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases against product features and backend systems.
  • Maintain automation framework (Playwright/Locust) for reliable infrastructure.
  • Contribute to development team on best practices, processes, and problem-solving.
  • Develop automated test result reports and highlight quality risks.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution.
  • Advocate for automation and contribute to manual testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-3.5 years in Software Quality Assurance, with strong focus on testing web applications.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining automated tests for web applications and/or APIs.
  • Hands-on experience in at least manual testing of REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Good with at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle concepts.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, test management tools, and issue-tracking platforms.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and experience with application deployments is a plus.
  • Experience in creating comprehensive test plans, authoring test cases, executing tests, and adhering to QA best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within Agile development teams.
