About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently create operating, service, and assembly manuals for the entire JULABO product portfolio (series and custom products), taking into account the applicable standards and regulations
Responsible for maintaining and expanding the authoring system (SMC) and the associated editorial guidelines
Further develop processes and methods related to the production of technical documentation
Drive innovative development of the area toward digital manuals (e.g., mobile-friendly, interactive, connected, etc.)
Coordinate content and schedules with the technical departments as well as product management, marketing and sales

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum: completed technician qualification and/or certified further training in technical documentation
Career changers with relevant skills are also welcome
Comprehensive methodological knowledge of the full scope of technical documentation is desirable
Professional experience in technical documentation or comparable experience
Affinity for the latest technological trends in relevant fields such as digital communication and media
Native-level German and good command of English, both written and spoken
Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
Good communication skills and enjoyment of taking on a high degree of personal responsibility
