About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise our advanced practice clinician
  • Conduct chart audits and meetings with APCs
  • Continuously and promptly give honest feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to improve our services
  • Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and collaborate with the leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Psychiatrist licensed to practice in New Jersey
  • DEA registration in New Jersey
  • Preferred: experience being a collaborating physician
  • Minimum 1 year psych related experience
  • Comfortable prescribing controlled substances when medically appropriate
  • Comfortable prescribing for anxiety and depression
  • Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric information about the patient to formulate effective and evidence-based clinical recommendations
  • Patient-first mindset, deep work ethic and dedication to the highest level of patient care
  • Willing to use a few simple tools to make your life easier (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.)
  • Comfortable working remotely in a Telehealth fast-paced startup environment
  • Interest for the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to transform mental health
