About the role

  • Ensure compliance with proper accounting principles and tax law for Josef Gartner GmbH and its subsidiaries
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
  • Perform reporting to the parent company
  • Support the presentation and determination of results in the separate financial statements in accordance with HGB/BilMoG
  • Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities

Requirements

  • Completed training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified accountant) or Steuerfachangestellter (tax clerk) (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting (IFRS/HGB) and tax matters desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills, structured and solution-oriented working style, and strong communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Confident user of MS Office; experience with SAP (modules FI, CO) desirable
