Sales Manager – Sales, DACH, Field Sales
Jordan OlivenölSales Manager driving growth in the German retail market for premium olive oil. Seeking a personality with experience in retail to further develop our presence in the market.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Germany is your territory. You are on the road four to five days a week – visiting store managers and working at the shelf.
- Retail is your workplace.
- New customer acquisition – national full-range retailers, specialty retailers (SEH), grocery retailers (LEH), regional chains
- Manage and develop existing retail partners strategically
- Develop and implement local promotions, display placements and creative sales-promotion ideas
- Secure and expand shelf presence: placement, maintenance, visibility
- Bring market and competitor insights directly into the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in grocery retail (LEH) – you understand purchasing structures, local market dynamics and the dynamics of retail
- Ideally an established network of stores and contacts in the food retail sector
- Independent, structured and entrepreneurial – you run your territory like your own business
- Confident in negotiations, even when they become demanding
- High willingness to travel is not a concession for you, but a given
- Driving licence class B
- Affinity for premium food products and brands with substance
