About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the application of agile methodologies and the adoption of Scrum principles within development teams;
  • Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies such as Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, and Refinement;
  • Ensure the engagement of agile teams by fostering a collaborative environment and continuous improvement;
  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure process flow and maximize team performance;
  • Support Product Owners in backlog management, ensuring item clarity and alignment with business objectives;
  • Monitor and analyze metrics such as Burndown, Burnup, and Team Velocity, providing insights for performance improvement;
  • Facilitate team self-organization and agile maturity, encouraging autonomy and a shared sense of responsibility;
  • Act as a change agent for the organization's agile culture, promoting best practices and training to evolve teams;
  • Ensure documentation and knowledge management using tools such as Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian products.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields;
  • Scrum Master certification (PSM from Scrum.org or CSM from Scrum Alliance);
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master;
  • Advanced knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, and XP methodologies;
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting agile metrics and using task tracking tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project, Miro, or equivalents);
  • Knowledge of Git and code versioning to track technical deliveries;
  • Ability to facilitate agile ceremonies and foster a collaborative, productive team environment;
  • Data analysis skills and the ability to communicate metrics for strategic guidance;
  • Effective communication, leadership, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to different scenarios.
