About the role

  • Provision and configure Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Redis);
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket for automated deployments;
  • Configure monitoring (Cloud Monitoring, alerts, dashboards);
  • Manage centralized logging and perform troubleshooting;
  • Implement security policies (IAM, secrets, networking);
  • Ensure automated backups and disaster recovery plans;
  • Optimize infrastructure performance and costs;
  • Document architecture and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Advanced experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
  • Cloud Run (serverless containerization);
  • Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL;
  • VPC, Load Balancing, Cloud CDN;
  • Docker and container orchestration;
  • Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD;
  • Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging (observability);
  • Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tooling;
  • Configuration of PostgreSQL/PostGIS on Cloud SQL;
  • Redis management (Memorystore);
  • Cloud security (IAM, Secret Manager, VPC);
  • GCP cost optimization;
  • Backup and disaster recovery strategies;
  • SSL/TLS certificates and CDN configuration;
  • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect);
  • Experience with Kubernetes (GKE);
  • Knowledge of security requirements for the electrical/critical infrastructure sector;
  • Familiarity with high-volume geospatial applications.
