💰 $41,300 - $72,300 per year
About the role
- Develop data collection tools based on understanding of underlying study design
- Participate in developing standard operating procedures for one or more studies
- Design and set up standard operating procedures
- Oversee data collection
- Analyze data under general oversight and make data-driven recommendations
- Oversee day-to-day activities and provide training for new staff on study
- Conduct literature searches to pull background material and identify information relevant and applicable to research interest
- Independently schedule appointments and make reminder/confirmation calls
- Complete phone and in-person survey interviews from one adult and one child in the family home
- Take measures of participants height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, and a finger stick for diabetes at the participants home
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Two years of related experience
- Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula
- Master’s Degree in a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience working within a research setting, preferably with field experience or engaging and recruiting participants
- Previous experience engaging participants from diverse backgrounds
- An interest and experience in housing, neighborhood factors, and/or food policy preferred
