About the role
- Support the LEAP program by assisting faculty and workshop organizers in developing, refining, and finalizing scientific manuscripts and written reports
- Capture key workshop outcomes, synthesize discussions, and translate complex scientific content into clear, accurate, publication-ready content
- Write and edit scientific manuscripts and workshop reports for website posting and submission to peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with faculty to synthesize content from LEAP workshops, including recordings and transcripts
- Draft manuscripts based on faculty input, data summaries, and workshop outcomes
- Assist with formatting, referencing, and submission processes for academic publications
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related technical/scientific field
- One year writing experience, preferably in technical/scientific field
- If degree is in a non-technical/scientific field, two years technical/scientific writing experience required
- Writing samples may be required
- Additional education may substitute for required experience per JHU equivalency formula
- Subject to pre-employment background check

- Ability to understand complex scientific and technical information related to long-acting therapeutics and public health and effectively communicate for academic and technical audiences
