About the role
- Lead, organize, and oversee the development of tools, resources and products in support of the GRAD Partnership project.
- Lead and manage multiple tool and resource development efforts involving cross-organizational teams.
- Lead development of cross organizational training sessions and workshops to build capacity of partners, intermediaries and districts.
- Lead and organize capacity building efforts for high impact Intermediaries in NYC and other regions, as designated.
- Lead proposal development and strategic partnership development.
- Contribute to strategy design and proposal development related to Intermediary certification work.
- Manage and oversee development ensuring quality, collaboration and adherence to schedules.
- Work with PI, Managing Director, and Deputy Director to maintain collaboration among partners and meet project deliverables.
- Organize and manage R&D efforts with district partners and intermediaries.
- Advise team on development, uptake and review of tools and resources; develop metrics to assess use.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between organizations regarding product and tool development.
- Lead engagement with internal and external partners; ensure adherence to JHU regulations and policies.
- Use data to inform strategies, work plans, and program direction; put in place tools, processes, structures to ensure excellence in programs, products, and deliverables.
- Oversee high level strategy design for Intermediaries and implementation independently.
- Serve as primary developer of key tools, resources and products and their training materials.
- Produce and edit documents, reports, and presentations; serve as writer for complex proposals related to the GRAD Partnership.
- In collaboration with research and evaluation division, strategically plan for research, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
- Lead trainings, workshops, and program support independently.
- Initiate and lead project-wide initiatives, proposal development and strategic partnership development independently.
- Represent JHU at relevant external meetings and events; engage with other programs across the Center.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Six years related program management experience in public health or medicine.
- Experience in leading and managing cross-organization workgroups/teams in the development of tools and resources ensuring quality, collaboration and adherence to schedules.
- Preferred: Six years related program experience in materials development and implementation working with school districts and intermediary organizations.
- Preferred: Five year's experience supporting the implementation of early warning, on-track, multi-tiered student support systems.
- Preferred: Teaching or school counseling experience.
- Ability to ensure adherence to JHU regulations and policies.
- Experience with writing and facilitation skills preferred.
