About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure secure and stable operation of the IT infrastructure
Actively contribute to the technological advancement of the infrastructure
Take technical ownership of central infrastructure topics
Serve as a point of contact for technical questions within the team
Support the development of technical standards, architectures and best practices
Further develop the IT and network infrastructure
Optimize the server and virtualization environment in hybrid Microsoft Windows and Linux landscapes
Analyze operational data to improve performance and availability
Responsible for the administration, configuration and ongoing development of the network and security environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience administering network, server and IT infrastructures
Solid knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching and VPN
Experience operating secure and stable infrastructures
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
Experience with hybrid environments using Microsoft Azure / Entra ID
Practical experience with virtualization solutions, ideally VMware
Knowledge of firewall and security systems
Know-how in monitoring, software distribution, endpoint management and IT service processes
Interest in technological progress, automation and the use of AI/ML in IT infrastructure
