About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a liaison and maintain records and files for all sites and satellites
  • Orally or in writing, explains procedures, rules and regulations, and/or services to contractors, vendors, other parks, and the public
  • Gathers information and prepares documents and reports
  • Maintain holiday and work schedules
  • Make independent decisions on the release of confidential information
  • Prepare documents and reports for hunting, fishing, and recreational programs including activity, metal detecting, hunting and research
  • Provide guidance to staff regarding various software applications and computer system operations
  • Maintain filing system on site correspondence, forms, legal documents, maps, financial records, and property control

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college, or completion of high school and two years of related office experience, or two years of independent business experience
  • Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 30 wpm
  • Extensive knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Working knowledge of the logic of computer programs
  • One (1) year of experience having the ability to follow oral or written instructions
  • One (1) year of extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
