Coordinates Bureau operations relating to HFS’ programs, philosophies, and objectives for the Illinois Medical Assistance and Child Support Enforcement programs
Reviews changes to financial legislation, federal laws and regulations, State statutes and administrative rules, regulations, and guidelines, and analyzes potential impact on Bureau operations
Serves as the Bureau’s reference and training resource for federal financial reporting and claiming Federal Financial Participation
Develops and updates presentation material to inform internal and external stakeholders on the Bureau’s role in the Department’s processes for reporting costs, claiming Federal Financial Participation, and drawing in federal revenue
Plans and directs special studies relating to claiming Federal Financial Participation.
Requirements
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college
Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the fields of fiscal management, accounting, budgeting, internal auditing, insurance and/or finance.
