About the role
- Analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating complex reports and databases to assist in the review and monitoring of proposed policy, procedures, and legislative changes
- Maintaining documentation and audit files for State Plan Amendments and updates to the Public Assistance Cost Allocation Plan
- Reviewing process flows and recommending improvements for communication and documentation between various business areas
- Reviewing and analyzing U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) audits and disallowances pertaining to HFS federal programs for accuracy of programmatic and financial findings
- Providing technical assistance for special projects related to the Federal Financial Participation process
Requirements
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college
- Supplemented by a master’s degree in business or public administration, with coursework in areas such as economic theory, accounting and finance, organizational theory, and operations research
- Requires one (1) year progressively responsible professional experience in management operations analysis or the completion of an approved training program
