About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serves as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer- Enterprise Hosting, for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT).
  • Leads and manages the development and implementation of new technology products and services.
  • Serves as official agency spokesperson on behalf of the Chief Technology Officer to internal and external entities regarding infrastructure and network issues.
  • Directs the enterprise hosting budget preparation, procurement, and controls appropriation of technology expenditures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in management information systems, information technology, computer science, or a directly related Information Technology field.
  • Requires prior experience equivalent to four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or private business Information Technology organization.
  • Requires four (4) years of professional experience in policymaking, strategic planning, and IT solutioning for large scale computer systems and platforms.
  • Requires four (4) years of professional experience supervising a large team of IT professionals.
