About the role
- Be a key part of the sales process, design-in opportunities, and other customer facing engagements, especially new product promotion and new design-in opportunities for all the divisions products.
- Communicate platform value proposition and product differentiation to Sales Team and customers.
- Identify customer needs, short-term and long-term.
- Provide technical direction to the product roadmap.
- Communicate customer feedback internally to enhance existing products.
- Develop marketing tools for successful product introductions.
- Assess market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.
- Contribute to market research, monitor competitive activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computing or Systems Engineering with a strong business background; MBA is preferred
- 10+ years of experience with capital equipment, electronics related sales and /or electronic test topics
- Technical knowledge of test equipment, for example as product, test, or applications engineer
- Demonstrated customer credibility and relationship building experience
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate internally across departments sales, engineering, finance
- Strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking ability
- Strategic thinking, planning and execution
- Ability to travel of up to 50% of the time (domestic and international)
