About the role
- Serve as the Internal Auditor for the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB)
- Act as the primary auditing administrator
- Represent agency in audits with external auditors
- Ensure complete and accurate agency reporting
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
- Completion of four (4) years of college
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience
- Knowledge in public administration, auditing, accounting, finance or fiscal management
- Preferred: 2+ years in governmental accounting/auditing, CPA/CIA license, experience with SAP-based accounting, financial report analysis, office operations management
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with state officials and agency staff
