About the role
- Coordinates the fiscal, business and service operations of an assigned unit or units within the Madden Mental Health Center.
- Establishes contracts for goods and services utilizing the State’s BidBuy procurement software or equivalent system.
- Serves as designated lead worker.
- Assists in the planning and development of the Madden Mental Health Center’s budget and other budgetary reports.
- Works closely with staff on special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college with a major in business administration or a related field.
- Requires one (1) year of progressively responsible business experience.
- Two (2) years of professional experience coordinating fiscal, business and service operations for a public or private organization (preferred).
- Two (2) years of professional experience establishing contracts for goods and services for a public or private organization (preferred).
- Two (2) years of professional experience assisting in the planning and development of budgets and other budgetary reports (preferred).
- Two (2) years of professional experience training and directing staff engaged in business and service functions for a public or private organization (preferred).
- Two (2) years of professional experience communicating effectively both verbally and in writing (preferred).
- Two (2) years of basic proficiency in computer software applications such as Microsoft, Word, Excel, etc. (preferred).
