  • Assist US Hardware engineering team in PCBA development, Sustaining and DISCON
  • Attend product development and critical kick-off meetings for initial product launch
  • Provide technical guidance to hardware engineers on PCBA development and Sustaining engineering
  • Direct the effort to find, simulate, and qualify a functional replacement for a critical IC, semiconductor or any electrical component that goes End-of-life (EOL)
  • Drive the validation of second-source components to prevent manufacturing line-down situations
  • Create complex board schematic designs based on customer requirements and specifications
  • Team up with hardware engineers to translate schematics into physical layouts
  • Perform pre and post PCB layout review to prevent or eliminate design issues such as crosstalk, reflections and voltage drops
  • Ensure that all designs are optimized for signal and power integrity
