About the role
- Lead the product strategy definition and future positioning of the Storage product line
- Participate and influence to implement successful product strategies for existing markets
- Identify, win, and negotiate business with key customers
- Ensure customer commitments are delivered to Teradyne standards of quality
- Establish a collaborative working environment across product management, project management, research, and engineering development teams
- Sponsorship of design-ins including targeting and competitive differentiation
- Development of competitive differentiation through sales and marketing collateral
- Coordination of key customer relationships and strategic engagement activities
- Participate in defining and executing the division’s mid-term plan
- Grow market share and support strategic design-in activities
- Develop product pricing strategy and manage account discounting
- Search and incubate new business development opportunities
Requirements
- BS in engineering or equivalent experience
- MBA or Masters in Engineering a plus
- 8+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years in product development, product management, or equivalent leadership experience creating and deploying advanced technical solutions (Semiconductor/Storage Capital Equipment preferred)
- Proven ability to lead all aspects of a growing business including market development, customer engagement and sales
- Strong influence, leadership, analytical, synthesis skills
- Ability to travel up to 30%
