About the role
- Development of mechanical systems for products within the division
- Champion product excellence by crafting and executing innovative quality assurance protocols
- Design of metal support structures to house test equipment
- Design of custom plastic injection molded components
- Design of automated machinery for component transport
- Tolerance analysis for mechanical parts and assemblies
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for material strength
- Thermal analysis and component design for cooling
- Packaging of electronics and PCBAs
- Cable routing and harness design
- Executing Design for Manufacturing practices
- Detailed drawing creation and documentation releases
- Use of ASME and GD&T drawing standards and practices
Requirements
- BSME or MSME
- Self Motivated individual
- Project experience with mechatronics
- Hands-on problem-solving experience
- Solidworks CAD
- Background in GD&T
- Solidworks PDM Pro is a plus.
