About the role
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
- Execute automation test scripts and enhance automation frameworks (if applicable)
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting
- Ensure software quality through best QA practices
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium/WebDriver, TestNG, or similar)
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Hands-on experience with test management and bug-tracking tools
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST) is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills
