About the role

  • Assist with various aspects to ensure compliance with grant processes, financial activities, and documentation
  • Provide technical assistance and support effective program implementation
  • Foster collaboration and standardize procedures
  • Maintain the Board’s grant opportunities in the Catalog of State Financial Assistance in GATA
  • Review pre-award qualifications in GATA
  • Publish grant opportunities to the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) in GATA
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain paper and electronic grant documents as required by federal and state laws
  • Facilitate reconciliation of grants annually with program compliance staff
  • Document Management and Standardization
  • Financial Monitoring and Reporting
  • Collaboration with ICCB staff and technical assistance for GATA, GMS, and federal and state rules concerning ICCB-administered grants
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments, state agencies, and external partners to promote effective communication and collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, public administration, or related field
  • A total of three (3) years (36 months) in education, training and/or work experience in the area of program administration, student services, or higher education policy
  • Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience
  • Grant management and compliance experience (desired)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Ability to work effectively with external providers, vendors, or institutional partners
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in program administration within higher education or workforce development
