About the role
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for DC hardware instrumentation, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Lead and inspire cross-disciplinary teams—including hardware, software, mechanical, logic design through all phases of product development.
- Oversee planning and execution of multiple concurrent projects, from concept through production release, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Serve as the primary product advocate, engaging with customers to gather feedback, understand requirements, and ensure product alignment with market needs.
- Champion best practices in product development, from requirements definition and design reviews to verification, validation, and release.
- Mentor and develop engineering and product team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate product progress, priorities, and vision to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Oversee technical engagement with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of components and solutions.
Requirements
- BSEE required.
- 5+ years in product leadership roles for DC/power instrumentation or related hardware products.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design and development, with a focus on board-level (PCB) products.
- Proven track record of delivering complex hardware products from concept to manufacturing, with end-to-end ownership.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and translate market needs into product requirements.
- Experience overseeing vendors and contractors.
