About the role
- Subject to administrative direction, serves as the Director of Performance & Organizational Development for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), organizing, planning executing, monitoring, controlling, and evaluating the DoIT Performance and Organizational Development Program.
- Implements policy for organizational design, development and readiness, and procedures for deployment strategies of agency programs.
- Administers and oversees agencywide comprehensive process improvement (CPI) review and analysis of agency organizational functions.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to the COO, providing executive-level strategic support for operational leadership initiatives.
- Serves as full-line supervisor.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college with coursework in general administration, business, marketing, labor, personnel/human resources or directly related fields.
- Requires prior experience equivalent to four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience general administration, business, marketing, labor, personnel or directly related fields in a public or business organization.
- Requires three (3) years of experience supervising a team of management professionals.
