About the role
- Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of the AP CoE
- Drive process standardization, automation, and optimization within the AP function
- Ensure the AP CoE aligns with the overall strategic goals of Teradyne Finance
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for the AP CoE
- Achieve process standardization and automation within the AP function
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Consolidate AP tasks currently performed by decentralized groups into the AP CoE
- Collaborate with other groups to ensure seamless integration of AP processes
- Develop and implement AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Direct process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the AP function
- Develop, implement and evaluate AP metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
- Implement regular process and performance review to improve performance and disseminate knowledge
- Ensure effective use of technology and automation tools to streamline AP processes
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 7 years experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role
- Experience in directing and managing a team is a plus
- Experience in setting up or managing a CoE is a plus
- Must have a strong knowledge of AP processes and best practices
- Strong systematic and problem-solving skills
- Effective organizational, guidance and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English, in verbal and written communication
- Ability to work well alone and take initiative
- Proficiency in AP automation tools and ERP systems
- Project management experience is a plus
- Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus
