About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in deleting and reporting spam and harmful content online as a Norwegian Content Moderator in Thessaloniki.
  • Review content and sort it in areas such as age-appropriateness, level of violence, sexual content, and political transparency.
  • Understand and keep up-to-date with the company's policies and guidelines.
  • Analyse and identify content that is not in compliance with requirements and flag for action in a timely manner.
  • Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality.
  • Recognise trends and patterns, and escalate issues outside of the established policies.
  • Use market specific knowledge and insights to spot and scope solutions to improve the support of user community.
  • Participate in employee assistance programs, program reporting initiatives, and training to ensure the well-being of you and your colleagues.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You speak and write Norwegian at a native level (at least C1) and you are fluent in English (C1). Excellent grammar skills.
  • Experience in a BPO/contact centre/content moderation this or last year
  • Tolerance of sensitive content that might sometimes include: child exploitation and abuse, animal torture, gang violence, murder, hate speech and more
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • You have a good understanding and level of computer handling skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the capability of research and identification of the right information, and follow guidelines for content moderation.
  • You have strong written communication skills, empathy, and cultural awareness of political and social situations of your home country.
