About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide a supportive and professional experience that reflects the firm’s values.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to intake and client communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and case details in Excel.
  • Send digital agreements and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Follow up with current and prospective clients to request additional information.
  • Politely redirect or refer individuals whose cases do not meet criteria.
  • Evaluate and triage cases to determine eligibility and alignment with practice focus.
  • Respond to inquiries received via phone, text, and social media platforms.
  • Manage inbound intake calls and conduct initial screening of potential clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-2 years of experience working as an Intake Specialist or in customer service roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess and triage potential cases effectively.
  • High level of emotional intelligence with the ability to manage sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Ability to remain empathetic, patient, and composed when dealing with distressed individuals.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to be warm, polite, and firm when necessary.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
