As a Lien Specialist, you’ll play a vital part in securing fair outcomes for personal injury clients by managing and negotiating medical liens.
You’ll work closely with providers, insurers, and attorneys to ensure every case is handled with care and precision.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage and update lien records in the case management system (Filevine)
Track lien status from start to resolution
Identify and resolve lien-related issues proactively
Prepare and maintain lien documentation
Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and internal teams
Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and well-organized
Verify compliance with legal and regulatory standards
Conduct audits to ensure lien process integrity
Provide clients with clear, empathetic updates on lien matters
Resolve disputes with lienholders and follow up until resolution
Generate regular reports for attorneys and management
Requirements
- Experience in lien management or personal injury law preferred
Understanding of medical billing and lien regulations
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Proficiency with Filevine and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with phone and email correspondence
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Analytical thinking and decision-making skills
Familiarity with personal injury law and medical terminology
