About the role

  • Work on structuring and evolving the BI and Analytics strategy, aligned with business objectives.
  • Define and maintain corporate data standards, including naming conventions, metrics, indicators (KPIs), and dimensional models.
  • Support decisions on data architecture (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse), ensuring scalability, quality, and performance.
  • Translate business requests into clear, well-documented analytical requirements.
  • Develop, review, and optimize dashboards, reports, and semantic models, ensuring adherence to defined standards.
  • Ensure consistency, reliability, and traceability of the data used in reports and dashboards.
  • Define data quality rules (validation, completeness, accuracy, timeliness).
  • Work on continuous performance improvements for queries, data loads, and visualizations.
  • Support versioning, publishing, and maintenance processes for BI assets.
  • Act as a technical reference for BI and data vendors and third-party teams.
  • Define technical standards and best practices to be followed by third parties.
  • Perform technical reviews of deliverables (modeling, dashboards, pipelines, documentation).
  • Serve as a bridge between IT/Data and business areas, promoting a common understanding of metrics and analyses.
  • Assist users in correctly interpreting data and indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Solid experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
  • Experience with corporate data environments and multiple information sources.
  • Data Modeling:
  • - Dimensional modeling
  • - Concepts of facts, dimensions, and granularity
  • - Advanced SQL for data analysis, validation, and transformation.
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar).
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data integration concepts.
  • Understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and/or Lakehouse.
  • Practical knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality.
  • Experience in data (BI) projects as an analyst in data structuring and creating ETL routines.
