About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver comprehensive occupational health services — from first aid and triage to physicals, screenings, and medical surveillance
- Assess and manage work-related injuries and illnesses, supporting return-to-work with clarity and care
- Respond to medical emergencies on-site and coordinate seamlessly with local hospitals and EMS
- Provide case management that balances clinical expertise with client policies and employee advocacy
- Champion wellness and health promotion programs that keep employees engaged and thriving
- Collaborate with client leadership on special projects and deliver impactful employee education
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current RN license in the state of Tennessee
- BLS Certification and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required)
- 3–5 years of nursing experience; occupational health background strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation regulations
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Hearing Conservation, or Spirometry (a plus)
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends — and a mindset that embraces it
- Emotional intelligence — you lead with empathy, regulate under pressure, and communicate with purpose
