About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative support to tax, trusts and estate planning attorneys
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents
- Maintain client contact by phone and correspondence about estate plans
- Prepare, revise, proofread and redline transactional documents
- Create and transmit correspondence to clients and government agencies
- Organize and prepare estate planning binders
- Manage attorney calendars and schedule meetings
- Arrange travel
- Track certified mailings and overnight deliveries
- Prepare new client/matter intake packages
- Transcribe voice recordings
- Collaborate with attorneys and Finance to review and process vendor payments and attorney expense reports
- Assist with overflow work and miscellaneous tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in tax, trusts and estate planning or administration
- Paralegal certificate from ABA approved program a plus
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities
- High degree of professionalism
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as a member of a dynamic tax, trusts and estate planning team
Benefits
Comp & perks- Hybrid work arrangement after the first 30 days: 4 days per week onsite and 1 day remote
- Base salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year
