About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Unlicensed Design Professional that supports development of design and documentation.
Assumes individual responsibility for producing portions of design and documentation.
Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.
Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs.
Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.
Consistently demonstrates working knowledge of conceptual, schematic, design development construction documentation and construction administration phases on assigned projects.
Maintains and initiates frequent communication with JCJ team members to sustain proper information flow.
Fully participates in designated project meetings, both virtual and in-person.
Demonstrates the ability to lead certain meetings with the consultant and internal team.
Prepares meeting notes using standard JCJ formats.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Professional BArch or master’s in architecture
6+ years’ experience in architectural practice or related position.
4+ years creating design solutions.
Advanced Computer and Information Management Skills
Revit, AutoCAD current versions
MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, MS Project
3D Rendering capability.
