About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Unlicensed Design Professional that supports development of design and documentation.
  • Assumes individual responsibility for producing portions of design and documentation.
  • Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.
  • Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
  • Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs.
  • Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
  • May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.
  • Consistently demonstrates working knowledge of conceptual, schematic, design development construction documentation and construction administration phases on assigned projects.
  • Maintains and initiates frequent communication with JCJ team members to sustain proper information flow.
  • Fully participates in designated project meetings, both virtual and in-person.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead certain meetings with the consultant and internal team.
  • Prepares meeting notes using standard JCJ formats.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Professional BArch or master’s in architecture
  • 6+ years’ experience in architectural practice or related position.
  • 4+ years creating design solutions.
  • Advanced Computer and Information Management Skills
  • Revit, AutoCAD current versions
  • MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, MS Project
  • 3D Rendering capability.
