Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA solutions and their application components.
  • Overall view of production planning and control and integration with directly related modules (CO, MM, QM, PM, PS).
  • Key master data for the PP component (PP-PI and PP-REM), such as work centers, Bill of Materials (BOM), routings, production versions, and material master.
  • Types of manufacturing, organizational units, description of an organization’s production processes, scope definition, and process mapping/analysis.
  • Production planning and control processes across all stages.
  • Master Production Schedule (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) — standard and flexible, and Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP).
  • Organizational units used by the production planning component (PP, PP-PI, PP-REM).
  • Integration of Bill of Materials, work centers, and production routings.
  • Production planning transactions through to final confirmation in the SAP system.
  • Product structures and their applications in production (material types).
  • Ability to describe production methods in the process (PP-PI, PP-SFC, PP-PS, PP-REM).
  • Ability to describe key master data in the manufacturing process. Conversion of planned orders into production orders (collective, individual, partial) and production reporting. Make-to-order and make-to-stock production strategies (MTO / MTS).
