Legal & Regulatory Specialist, Digital Assets

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advising financial intermediaries on regulatory and legal matters
- Company formation for clients
- Preparing, filing and supporting license applications
- Supporting clients in M&A transactions
- Performing legal work such as legal opinions, legal assessments and FINMA non-action letters
- Taking on director mandates for our clients
- Coordinating with regulatory authorities
- Co-developing JayBee and contributing ideas to drive our collective success
- Supporting corporate development
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree or other advanced legal qualification; at least one Swiss qualification is required
- Relevant professional experience (minimum 5 years)
- Strong understanding of legal software & AI (LegalTech)
- Strong understanding of digital assets and blockchain technology
- Strong knowledge of financial market regulation, ideally in Switzerland
- Business-proficient in English; knowledge of a Swiss national language is an advantage
- Committed, energetic, proactive personality willing to go above and beyond expectations
- Independent, goal-oriented working style with strong attention to detail
- Team player with strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills
- Advantageous: Swiss legal training, consulting or law firm experience, entrepreneurial mindset, and sales and marketing skills
