About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, plan, install, integrate, and maintain tactical and strategic communications networks
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements for Army tactical communications systems
  • Develop network architecture for adjacent, higher, and lower units, and other agencies
  • Lead the engineering design, development, integration, and maintenance of the WIN-T network
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and specifications
  • Provide technical support in PM TN equipment labs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Testing, or a related field
  • A minimum of six (6) years of related tactical network engineering experience
  • A Bachelors degree can be substituted with an additional five (5) years of related experience performing tactical network engineering functions
  • Comprehensive understanding of current and future tactical and strategic military communications networks
  • Experience with network design, integration, and troubleshooting, particularly within military environments
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP or similar) are preferred
