About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, plan, install, integrate, and maintain tactical and strategic communications networks
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements for Army tactical communications systems
- Develop network architecture for adjacent, higher, and lower units, and other agencies
- Lead the engineering design, development, integration, and maintenance of the WIN-T network
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and specifications
- Provide technical support in PM TN equipment labs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Testing, or a related field
- A minimum of six (6) years of related tactical network engineering experience
- A Bachelors degree can be substituted with an additional five (5) years of related experience performing tactical network engineering functions
- Comprehensive understanding of current and future tactical and strategic military communications networks
- Experience with network design, integration, and troubleshooting, particularly within military environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP or similar) are preferred
