About the role
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide strategic leadership in the development and integration of tactical network systems
- Perform and lead systems engineering processes and best practices
- Provide expert engineering support for all phases of the acquisition program
- Guide the development of transport and networking architecture for tactical capabilities
- Conduct design reviews and lead technical evaluations of network performance
- Support Capability Set (CS) and Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) activities
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on interoperability considerations
- Review acquisition documentation and contractor proposals for compliance and efficiency
Requirements
- Candidates must have an active Secret clearance
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Testing, or a Related Field
- Minimum of 10 years of tactical network systems engineering experience
- Subject matter expert in network engineering, LAN/VLAN design, and network protocol analysis
- Comprehensive knowledge of tactical communications systems, RF engineering, and transport/network architecture
