About the role
- Provide critical technical and administrative support to CPE C3N at Fort Bliss, TX
- Manage RF spectrum requirements for military events, including Project Convergence and Joint Warfighting Assessments
- Ensure necessary certifications and frequency assignments for participating emitters
- Develop RF Spectrum Plans and obtain approvals
- Verify emitter certifications through research
- Serve as a liaison between Project Offices, CFTs, CDIDs, and industry partners
- Design spectrum plans addressing technical considerations
- Utilize Spectrum XXI to submit temporary frequency requests
- Assist with EA requirements and GPS-related events
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
- Associate of Science in an Engineering discipline OR a Bachelors in Engineering Technology
- Successful completion of the Army (or Joint) Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager Course
- Expert-level skill with Spectrum XXI
- 4+ years applying telecommunications concepts (frequency deconfliction, record management, and interference resolution)
- 5+ years performing test and evaluation on Army telecommunications systems.
