About the role
- Provide program management and acquisition support for Project Manager Tactical Network, Business Management Division (BMD)
- Monitor and participate in the control and responsibility for the presentation and execution of Project Manager (PM) Programs
- Responsible for formulation, presentation, and execution of annual operating budget
- Formulate annual and multi-year budget estimates and maintain operating budgets
- Compile narrative and statistical material and prepare exhibits and related background information for Program briefings
- Prepare documents needed to process budget estimates
- Monitor the execution of the approved operating budget to assure funds are properly allocated and being obligated and spent in a timely manner
- Exercise budget controls through review and approval of the obligation and expenditure of funds including payment of personnel salaries, travel, and expenses
- Develop justification and impact statements and compile data to be used for forecasting obligations
- Recommend adjustment within budget line items in response to changes in programs, staffing levels and/or funds availability
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Experience or familiarity with DoD Program Acquisition
- Experience in utilization of General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS)
- Experience with Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaRS)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SharePoint
- Excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills
- BA or BS degree is desired
