Key responsibilities & impact

Map daily clinical activity and ensure full conversion into billable revenue, with no losses or omissions.
Issue service invoices within deadlines and in compliance with current legislation.
Reconcile billed amounts, receipts, and bank statements.
Monitor, classify, and appeal claim denials from health insurers, tracking outcomes.
Manage payment deadlines and perform formal collections with health plan operators.
Create and submit billing batches (TISS) according to each insurer's requirements.
Provide accounting with the necessary data for accurate revenue posting.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Administration, Accounting, Financial Management, Healthcare, or related fields.
Previous experience in billing for clinics, hospitals, or health plan operators.
Knowledge of the TISS standard and procedure authorization rules.
Familiarity with billing rules and fee schedules of major health plans (Unimed, Bradesco Saúde, SulAmérica, Amil, among others).
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with healthcare billing/ERP systems.
