About the role
- The Investor Relations Analyst supports the Investor Relations & Capital Raising team’s work with both existing and prospective investors.
- In particular, the Analyst supports the team through the analysis of portfolio data and preparation of quarterly investor and consultant reporting materials including questionnaires and due diligence requests, most of which are in Excel and require collaborating across departments to gather, calculate, and explain data.
- The Analyst will work closely with both the investor relations and fund management teams.
- The Analyst must develop a thorough understanding of Jamestown, L.P.’s portfolio, strategies, services, and global institutional investor base.
- The Analyst will cross-train and collaborate with other departments.
- Produce quarterly investor and consultant reporting materials including questionnaires and due diligence requests, most of which are in Excel and require collaborating across departments to gather, calculate, and explain data.
- Manage investor portal, including uploading and distributing reporting documents and asset data and updating contact information and distribution lists.
- Monitor and respond to investor inquiries received via the investor email inbox.
- Maintain databases and tracking logs related to department functions and activities.
- Prepare written responses to ad-hoc investor requests and questionnaires.
- Provide exceptional and timely customer service to investors.
- Assist in the intake, processing, and filing of investor legal documents.
- Perform research and prepare reports for senior team members.
- Prepare materials for virtual and on-site investor meetings and asset tours, including pitch books and asset case studies.
- Prepare detailed meeting notes.
- Proofread and edit documents.
- Evaluate current and potential processes to improve and determine best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field of study from an accredited institution; and 1-2 years of experience in a related field; or Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
- Knowledge of: MS Excel with a focus on organization of portfolio data using basic functions such as pivot tables, vlookup, sumif
- MS Word including formatting large documents
- CRM systems such as Salesforce, Juniper Square
- Videoconferencing platforms, including Zoom and Teams
- Skills and Abilities: Exceptional organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- The ability to meet deadlines, accomplish work in order of priority
- High degree of self-motivation, personal accountability, teamwork and collaboration
- Professionally maintain composure & effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
- Detail oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving, with a demonstrated track record of delivering actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, listening).
