About the role
- Adapt and fine-tune LLMs to support in-game experiences and operational needs.
- Experiment with generative AI applications (text, image, video, animation) that push creative and gameplay boundaries.
- Explore and support the design of agentic AI systems that automate workflows and empower creative and operations teams.
- Partner with senior data scientists to prototype and apply models that personalize experiences for players and improve decision-making for teams.
- Contribute to building data pipelines, tools, and systems that translate data into actionable insights.
- Support applied AI and ML workflows that have real-world impact across Jam City’s games and operations.
- Work closely with game studios, product, marketing, and central teams to ensure AI and data solutions deliver meaningful value.
- Communicate insights clearly through documentation, presentations, and collaboration.
- Be a supportive teammate — curious, positive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, Applied Math, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, and data science, developed through a mix of research, coursework, professional projects, or independent exploration.
- Curious, open-minded, and excited to explore new technologies.
- Flexible and adaptable — comfortable contributing to a wide range of projects before specializing.
- Positive, team-oriented, and collaborative in approach.
- Strong communicator with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical perspectives.
- Motivated to grow and contribute in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
