About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and develop the Procurement team, promoting performance management, training and succession planning for professionals in the area.
  • Ensure execution of the procurement strategy, meeting company demands with a focus on quality, lead time, cost and risk mitigation.
  • Lead the acquisition processes for materials, equipment and services, both domestic and international, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Act as the owner of governance for purchasing, contracting and supplier management processes, promoting compliance and industry best practices.
  • Conduct strategic negotiations and support the team in handling higher-complexity matters with significant business impact.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with strategic suppliers, identifying opportunities for improvement, innovation and value creation for the company.
  • Manage area performance indicators, monitoring results and implementing actions to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support client departments in defining contracting and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Participate in planning and monitoring acquisitions related to operating expenses (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX), contributing to the optimization of company resources.
  • Serve as a technical and managerial reference for the Procurement area, promoting continuous process improvement and the pursuit of sustainable results.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
  • Knowledge of SAP-ERP.
  • Experience leading Procurement teams.
