About the role

  • Designs innovative software solutions from the user interface to the database layer.
  • Develops frontend and backend components for web-based applications.
  • Works directly with clients, analyzes requirements, and designs solutions.
  • Designs database schemas and optimizes queries for performance.
  • Builds RESTful APIs and integrates external services.
  • Mentors team members, conducts code reviews, and promotes best practices.
  • Identifies technical risks early and raises them.
  • Develops, tests, and documents using LLM-based coding assistants.
  • Participates in development from concept through deployment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a comparable background
  • Several years of experience in full-stack development
  • Strong knowledge of modern UI frameworks, preferably Angular; alternatively React or Vue
  • Backend experience with Node.js and frameworks such as NestJS
  • Excellent programming skills; proven track record of delivering software projects to production with TypeScript and Python
  • Experience with databases, particularly MongoDB
  • Very good German language skills
