About the role
- Proactively managing the sales and profit potential of assigned territory Customers and Distributors.
- Develop sales strategies and tactics to penetrate customers across functions.
- Work directly to manage the Broker dedicated Distribution sales team in OH, KY, and IN.
- Achieve/exceed all key sales measures and targets.
- Develop and manage customer relationships; contribute to customer strategy ensuring objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- 5+ years food or Beverage Sales experience.
- In-depth knowledge of branded consumer packaged foods industry.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & MS Office, Salesforce.com and must have excellent presentation skills.
- Experience selling to operators and chains.
- In-depth knowledge of food service channel dynamics and trends.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills.
- Ability to travel required 50%
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.
