About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop Python applications for aggregating and visualizing results from bioinformatics pipelines.
Perform processing and analysis of sequence data.
Adapt outputs from existing pipelines to ensure interoperability with visualization tools.
Provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance for existing bioinformatics applications.
Write associated technical and functional documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong background in bioinformatics.
Expertise in developing data visualization applications (Python).
Master's degree (MSc) or PhD in Bioinformatics or Computer Science/Business Intelligence.
Minimum 3 years' experience developing data analysis tools in the Life Sciences sector.
Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Plotly, Seaborn, FastAPI).
Web development & dashboards (Django, Flask, Dash, Streamlit, Tableau).
Knowledge of workflow tools (Snakemake) and NGS analysis.
Experience using AI code assistants (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot).
Familiarity with regulated pharmaceutical environments.
Fluent in French; professional-level English is required.
