About the role

  • Lead client-facing functional workshops to articulate native Salesforce capabilities and align solutions with client goals
  • Serve as Salesforce subject matter expert in client interactions, guiding solution design and managing scope
  • Own functional requirements and solution design for Salesforce implementation projects across delivery phases
  • Define business requirements and user stories; translate needs into actionable specifications for delivery team
  • Design and configure Salesforce using declarative tools to support B2B Commerce, Service Cloud, and core CRM use cases
  • Build reports and dashboards, define automation, and support data integrity efforts
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical architects, developers, designers, and QA testers to ensure delivery
  • Address client escalations and drive resolution to maintain project momentum
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities and provide thought leadership on best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of total Salesforce experience (CRM, Service, Sales, Experience Cloud, etc.)
  • 2+ years working with Salesforce B2B on Lightning
  • 3+ years of experience in client-facing Business Analyst or Functional Architect role
  • Expert at leading functional requirements workshops
  • Skilled in producing clear functional documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools, flows, page layouts, permissions, custom objects, etc.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce B2B Commerce features (catalog/product management, buyer groups, contracted pricing, checkout, invoicing)
  • Expert knowledge of the Salesforce B2B Commerce data model
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Preferred: Experience with Experience Cloud, CMS, Service and Sales Clouds
  • Preferred: Relevant Salesforce certifications (Administrator, B2B Commerce on Lightning, Experience Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant)
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Preferred: Experience leading geographically distributed teams and integrating Salesforce with eCommerce systems
  • Prior consulting experience
