About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform maintenance and servicing of PEM electrolyzers and associated systems at customer sites
  • Analyze faults and diagnose issues using electrical schematics, PLC systems, and process control technology
  • Commission new systems and equipment
  • Provide technical support to customers during the ramp-up phase
  • Apply the highest safety standards when working in high-pressure and hydrogen environments
  • Document and report completed activities
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers during assignments
  • Travel regularly to customer sites in Germany and across Europe

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical training, e.g., as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Technician, or Master Craftsman, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in service, maintenance, or commissioning of industrial, energy, or process systems
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, electrical engineering, pneumatics, or high-pressure gas systems
  • Experience with energy systems, hydrogen technology, electrolysis, or high-voltage systems is an advantage but not required
  • Good written and spoken German and English
  • Class B driver's license
  • High willingness to travel; assignments of up to four weeks may be required
  • Residence in Germany, ideally within approximately one hour of a major German airport
  • Resume/CV in English
