About the role
- Lead system projects end-to-end (planning, execution, monitoring, control, and delivery), using different management methodologies (agile, traditional, or hybrid).
- Translate business needs into viable, scalable technical solutions.
- Monitor project schedules, risks, budgets, and performance indicators.
- Ensure execution of the software development process steps with a focus on quality, involving teams responsible for technical definition and implementation.
- Actively participate in digital transformation projects, identifying opportunities to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive business results.
- Work on the continuous improvement of claims-related processes and systems.
- Lead highly complex integration projects between decentralized systems (via APIs, service buses, or other integration technologies).
- Lead projects designed for public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Requirements
- Leadership profile with a strong sense of ownership and results orientation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills between technical and business areas.
- Analytical mindset, organizational skills, and proactivity.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous demands in dynamic environments.
- Autonomy and ease of working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid experience leading IT products (preferably in the Insurance or Financial sector).
- Proven experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or MS Project.
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, integration flows, and system architecture patterns.
- Basic knowledge of information security, IT governance, and compliance (e.g., LGPD).
- Project management certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, PSM) or IT frameworks (ITIL, COBIT).
- Previous technical experience as a developer or systems analyst.
- Certifications or knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and its business applications.
- Experience in digital transformation projects in the insurance sector.
- Knowledge of LGPD, data security, and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience with scaled agile methodologies (SAFe, LeSS) or DevOps.
